He's trending downward, but he's not down and out.

Probably right about Contreras, but I would like to see an informed skills comparison between he and Jackson.

Rico, you may need a scouts take but I've seen both. Contreras is seriously more advanced (IMHO) than his brother at the same stage. That's lofty but I stand by it. Difference in Contreras and Jackson is Contreras has the cannon although Jackson is right there. As Contreras has caught more, he's better with footwork and it shows in his throws to second. Jackson has definitely put work in as far as footwork and the pitchers seem to like him. Contreras has the better framing skills to me. While his brother has struggled with that, it seems William has been instructed to focus on that. Offense is no worry so I'd imagine he worked on that before being promoted. To me, Contreras has the outlook of a balanced catcher who is better overall than any of our catching prospects. (If only Herbert could hit...WHEW)! OK. Just my thoughts via the eye tests of course.

Kiley saw Contreras lately and had some solid things to say. He says he projects to more power than he currently shows. Should come later. Currently an average to above average defensive catcher

The one thing Pache really needs to do is get his BB rate up to at least around 7-8%. If he does that, I think he'll provide at least Ender-level value.

What do you guys think is Pache’s long term power projection? Is he gonna be a 15 HR guy or more ?

He should be a 15-HR guy at the low end of his projections. I mean, Ender isn't far from that himself.

Pache just hit 9 this year in 122 games. I think he'll be a 15-25 HR guy at the low and high end of his projections.

Pretty impressive. Wonder what Gohara, Wright, and Touki would be if they still ranked them?

The changes to his swing have definitely increased his power projections, but I'm still not convinced he'll be more than a 10-15 homer hitter. I wouldn't be concerned with it much anyways. If he can get on base around a .330 clip, he'll be an incredibly valuable player if the defense is as legit as advertised.

For a team that doesn't produce top-end positional talent, we sure produce top-end positional talent.

12 in the top 114. Not too bad with acuña and Ozzie already contributing.

Anderson is going to be the best of the pitching talent as long as he stays healthy... him and Touki with Folty will provide a dominate rotation sooner rather than later

Feel like Touks is too low, and should be 55 FV. Gohara—even though I’m still a believer—seems like he might be too high, at this point, given the regression in his stuff this year, conditioning questions, et cetera. I’d probably flip those two.
