Rob Whalen to Make MLB Debut tomorrow?

He's listed on ESPN as starting for the Braves tomorrow.

He certainly deserves a shot to prove he can be a back end starter at the MLB level. Good for him.

I wonder if they're guessing. My preference would be Hernandez, rather than rush Whalen past AAA at all.

I wouldn't dare suggest his ceiling is a #4 starter. If he throws a quality start tonight I can predict where the Whalen discussion will go!

If you take away his health issue time...he has been dominant the whole way.

I haven't seen Whalen at all. What makes him good? Does he have good stuff or just good control?

Has a great curve ball. Really no "unbelievable" stuff. He just gets guys out...a lot....

So who the hell starts this weekend in St. Louis? I've got tickets for Friday and Saturday, and would prefer not to watch De La Cruz or a bullpen game.
