If I were AA, I wouldn’t have activated a young pitcher straight off bereavement leave who hasn’t had a chance to pitch much this year as it is.

yeah, this is on AA for putting him on the big club in the first place... you made Soroka pitch in Rome after a 2 week stint, yet you let the over weight guy who hasn't pitch much this year go straight to the big club... even for the pen, you still need to see if he has any major league pitches.

Someone here said we promoted gohara to control his diet. Whoever said that could have been right... seems like you could control what he eats a little more in Atlanta

    And the adjustment will be...

Get back on top, and not hit 1 more HR this year. At all.

Otherwise, we'll be saying hello to Ozzie Albies, .200-.220 bat.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Big shadow, though: lots of ground to cover.

Hey genius, what's your take on Albies' power now that his HR/FB rate has predictably plummeted?

Have any more brilliant points to make about any other player's power?

Well, this was most definitely a horrible game against an even more horrible offense lol but, it’s over and we’ve gotta push forward!

How about leaving some of those high fastballs alone? That might do it, too, without having him turn into Dee Gordon.

this is one of the most absurd things ever said on here, and it did not get enough attention.

His walk rate is low, his HR rate is low, his hit rate is low, his ERA is two, he's going seven innings every game...

but his K rate is alarmingly low, too. And the GO/AO isn't low, about even.

So all he's done is get results, pitching to contact. I guess the only thing to do is find out. Can't be worse than the Teheran/Gohara show last night.

Velo is low, Ks are insanely low, FIP and xFIP aren't great. it's hard for me to see much from him.
