It feels like we are about to make a move that I hate. Something like grabbing a "controllable" MoR or BoR starter and paying way more than we actually should.
Hopefully its just gas and AA is going to do something great.

Yankees front-runner for Britton, per Rosenthal.
Interested to see what they give up if it goes down.
Would be nice if we did something
I’d actually like to hold firm. We have more than enough great arms down low to pull up to fix our pen. Start their clocks early/ they are pitchers who are gonna get hurt and need Dr. Andrews anyway.
We have more than enough bats to win a WS now.
I want a ten year window, not a sell out now...
I'm genuinely surprised at the Britton trade. From the Yankees standpoint, if all goes through, I would've thought Josh Rogers plus two more, not Dillon Tate. That's an overpay (but for them, they can handle it).
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
Have been told if deal is finalized #Yankees are sending Dillon Tate, Josh Rogers and AAA reliever Cody Carroll to #Orioles
Holy return.
Lol I actually used to drink with Cody Carroll. We were at Southern Miss at the same time. Actually a solid relief prospect.
The Yankees have a legit shot this year. It’s a high price to pay, but they are that “one or two” players away.
I am VERY glad we didn’t do that.
So far the only package I would have been happy to see AA beat was the package for Machado because he was the one true difference maker available, and the Os took quantity over quality.
Well maybe the Herrera package too, but that went down before Viz hit the DL, right?
The Yankees value potential #4 SPs less than almost any team in the game because they can drop $10M+ on one with zero issue. They play by a completely different set of rules than most teams.

I was a bit disappointed Britton went there, but dang, that’s a rich package for a reliever.
