Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Wells is also an example of a pitcher with walk rate over 4 in the minors who improved his walks systematically and was successful.

Fangraphs did an article on Gray that referenced his poor adjustment to what the Yankees wanted him to do.
Maybe the Braves could get him cheaply. Not too much control left and he’s not that valuable to New York evidently. Maybe Atlanta would not be carrying the bulk of this one if it netted New York an upgrade.
