Minter looks like he’s starting to hit his stride.

For those wondering which low-ish power, high OBP batter should be hitting lead off for the Braves, I would recommend you take a look at the current #5 hitter with a .150 ISO and .400 OBP who I suggested should be batting lead off (at least vs RHP) before the season even started.

    Albies 4
    Donaldson 5

    Inciarte 8
    Soroka 1
Remember when Minter was a worthless bum when he gave up a few runs last Tuesday night to Arizona? He owned it and said he’d do better and he has, Biddle could take some notes.

BP allowed 1 base runner over 3.1 innings.

Starting to see some encouraging signs from Inciarte.

    Soroka did Soroka things.

If Soroka and Fried can stay healthy and Folty’s return is successful, all the sudden the rotation looks like a strength

What are your thoughts on Snit leaving Soroka in to give him a chance to get out of his own mess until the last possible hitter he could let him face?

Don't mind him, the long rigorous days of sales engineering erode his brain energy to the point where his thoughts are something more akin to a paleolithic humanoid.

Against it when a pitcher is clearly fatigued and just recovered from a shoulder injury. It was a very shortsighted move, and Soroka has already demonstrated he can “get out of his own mess”.

Soroka needs to stay healthy, not prove to some dinosaur that he can compete.

I think it was more Snitker showing the kid he had faith in him. But, I didn’t agree with the decision either.
