Yeah, I don't get it. We have several righties coming up.

I agreed with letting Folty hit because we needed at least 4 innings out of him. And letting him face the RHH through Rendon in the 5th. But really this is a game we can win and I would have Touki or Tomlin in right now.

Calling Snit stupid is stupid. He left him in to try and get him to work through his issues and to let him stew in the stink of his own making. Letting Folty try and pitch his way out of his funk is more important than any one game. This one game is not important and runs are less of an issue with our offense anyway. We're still in the game.

What in this game makes you think he could handle the top of their lineup the third time through?

11 starts in (1/3 of the year), folty's era is over 6, fip is over 6.

There is really nothing to work through. His stuff just isn't as good as last year. And without that he's a back end starter. he will be on the DL after tonight.

What’s frustrating about Folty is we know he’s better than this. He nearly pitched a no hitter in Oakland a couple years ago and was an All Star last year.

I’m glad the guys like him but Snit is as bad of an in-game manager as I’ve ever seen.

I agree. Folty won't make next start, and he shouldn't

I know we focused a ton on pitching during the rebuild but it hasn’t gone that great. In the offseason we need to target a legit starter. Gerrit Cole is a FA.

And started the year on the DL. I bet whatever that was is still an issue. His stuff is worse than its ever been.

Just stupid that Blevins ever faces a RHH in a relatively close game. Just stupid.

He's better than this but he's suffering from elbow problems. It's time for the IL and then AAA until he can get it together again.

It's a question of trying to avoid using up the pen and also getting the right matchups. Maybe pull him after Turner gets on and bring in a lefty because 3 of the next four hitters would have been lefties.

I mean, so far the game is being managed like we want to lose.
