Think I heard on the broadcast that Soroka had the lowest hard hit % in MLB?

He has the second-highest SLG% in baseball behind Bellinger.

They may have to move him to 1st.

The Nats are hot garbage. So much for their team having the most talent in the division.

There's plenty of the season left, but they're definitely putting themselves in a huge hole. I mean, they're awful right now. Talk about a team that wasted its window.

I have always and still feel the Faillies have the most talent in the division. The question is will they win anything before that door slams shut. And it will slam shut soon imo.

Never viewed them as Contenders before the season started. Same as Mutts.

Always thought it was going to be Failies and Us for the division.

And they just signed a garbage OFer--- Parra who was cut by the Giants

    From MLBTR---

Parra, 32, had been designated for assignment by the Giants as they cleared the deck for younger options. He is slashing just .198/.278/.267 through 97 plate appearances on the season.

You’re looking prophetic. Braves and Phillies are pretty much even talent-wise, with the Braves having the advantage of depth and pitching upside.

I always thought the Nationals should be the favorites because they still have the most talent on paper, a decent farm system, and a large payroll. And they’re still relatively young.

I never bought into the Mets either because of their age, defense, lack of depth and over-reliance on their starting rotation.

However, there is still a LONG way to go.

It's fair to wonder if the Nats are as good as we think. they never really woke up last year. It's worth considering that they aren't that good. Weird as that is to say when looking at a depth chart.

Those writing off the Nats would be wise to look at the fact they have gotten 15 PAs from Turner, and 90 PAs from Rendon. The BP has been terrible.

We will see what the Nats can do once they get their studs back and their BP in order.

Soto and to a much lesser extent Zimmerman, too.

I am not ready to write them off, either.

Also- this is not related to anything on the field, but the Nationals are likely getting a sportsbook (One of what will be a few in D.C.) at Nationals Park.

Pretty damn cool. I hope we have something like that at The Battery one day.

Baseball, after all, became so popular originally due to gambling.

The projection systems really underestimated how bad he is defensively. At "20" years old he is Adam Dunn level bad.

#Braves optioned struggling lefty A.J. Minter to Triple-A Gwinnett and returned lefty Jonny Venters from rehab assignment at Gwinnett, reinstating him from the 10-day injured list.

I'm guessing we'll soon be seeing Biddle up and Wright down
