Still ignores the main point - Folty's still got a LONG way to go. The brass didn't bring 3 other veteran starters in because they were convinced he's going to take that next step forward and become a #2 or #3 this season. Only 10 of his 22 starts lasted 6+ innings, meaning that counting on him could easily shred your pen.
Again, I'm just as hopeful as everyone else - I just think it's awfully early to decide he's much more of a "lock" to become a long-term rotation piece than Wisler or Blair just yet. All 3 have shown flashes at different points, but none of them have sustained anything thus far - including Folty.
