One of the things that I focus on in my role. The more you empower people the more they will achieve. If you hand someone everything you'll have to hand it to them forever.

Have you been observing many of my students? I actually agree with you on that statement, but it has not been my experience that many, possibly even most employers do that . Remember I worked in and (barely) lived through the wonderful Reagan 80's, you know the era that started the whole "hey it's not personal, it's just business" mantra, while they slit your throat (metaphorically speaking) and sent you and your family off to lose everything, just so they could save a couple of dollars.

I listened to a great podcast on Freakonomics the other day with charles Koch... I'd recommend everyone listen to it (knowing none of you will).

Also - no questions ACA was handled much better legislatively. The GOP has shown its incompetence during this process. Hopefully they don't pass it (even though I think it's an improvement)

I wouldn't walk across the street to piss on Charles Koch if he were on fire

Not surprising you find him inspirational

I would say the same about you except I would walk over to your side and just spit in your face and dare you do something about it.

Here is just one. We could go on to clandestinely funding business schools to shadow funding toward political de regulation. To dis information leading to dissolution of public unions

So for this, you'd let him die?

I'd recommend listening to the podcast. If nothing else than just to hear a different perspective. It's healthy
