Ynoa is a small low-90s guy that might stick at the back of a rotation, but is walking a ton of guys. He's like Touki with much less stuff.

I think I would have preferred the potential elite closer, even with the TJ on his resume.

Of course, you guys think Garcia's value increased after his last start, so you all will obviously be claiming to prefer Ynoa haha.
Lol well on the flip side you said Garcia's value went DOWN after that start, and it clearly didn't. Both Ynoa and Burdi are rated 40 FV by Fangraphs. Burdi has a much better FB, but worse command and a blown out elbow. Braves went from paying more cash to paying almost no cash and throwing Recker. Garcia's value basically stayed the same

Did I? You sure about that?

Or did I say, "his value increased due to performance by exactly the same amount it decreased now that he will be making 1 less start for his new team"?

Yeah, have to hand this one to Enscheff. I like the idea of going after young guys with a high ceiling, which is pretty much our MO, but Garcia's market value did not go up.

His value decreases every start he makes in Atlanta.

I think the point is that this is impossible to say without knowing how each team valued each player.

Regardless it's a rather pedantic argument and is only serving to make the town hothead angry.

He also stated in the next tweet that there was a report of him hitting higher than 94.

Of course it's impossible to say since it's the only shred of an excuse you have left...you and all the geniuses were wrong.

You've been wrong every single time you've disagreed with me...about anything...ever.

Every single trade discussion. Every single player valuation. Everything. Every time.

Looks like Keith Law just posted an Insider article on the trade. Any of our Insiders care to summarize his analysis on Ynoa?

Didn't say much on him. Did say the trade was a win for Atlanta.

    At 6-3,175, he's a veritable midget.

I never liked the Garcia trade. Thoughtf he had almost no value with what he was making. People forget he was almost nontendered by the cards.

Turns out I was right. He had very little value with that contract. Id rather have Gant than Ynoa.

He's 19 years old. My guess is he'll fill out. For a smart guy, you make a ton of careless mistakes.

So you don't think he substantially increased his trade value with that start against the Dodgers haha?
