I didn't read the article and don't need to. It's just some sports editor trying to create controversy.
I have no problem with TP being honest when asked the question. Everything he said was 100% true. Then when Brian and Girardi were asked they said what they needed to say. Brian denied it and Girardi actually said the same thing TP said. Quote below.\

Oh and one other thing. I usually pull for former Braves when they move on. However I never pulled for Glavine with the Mets and I hope Brian hits Bj style while with the Yanks.
