I see you’ve been making a last minute push the last week or two to bring home your Worst Poster title for this year.

I wouldnt trade Acuna for Springer. Springer is nearly 30 soon and due massive money soon.

For a single player? Not many would be a fit for the Braves as they currently stand. If the Braves were a mid 80's win team ready to make that push then you could do it for any number of star players with 4+ years left on good contracts. Since the Braves aren't that team then it doesn't really make much sense for a single guy.

You're missing the point, I picked Springer because he just came off a huge season and was world series MVP so he's someone Houston wouldn't trade for Acuna.

Teams rarely trade top prospects, but this reminds me of back in the day, who would you rather have, Andruw or Vlad Guerrero. Later it was Heyward or Stanton. Now to me it's pretty much back to Vlad Guerrero Jr vs Acuna. That's about it as far as who I'd trade Acuna for.

I would take Andruw over Vlad I think. Considering we got a fantastic 11 years out of Andruw where he accumulated about 60 WAR and Montreal got 7 fantastic years of Vlad with about 35 WAR. Andruw also played far better defense at a more premium position. For the same reasons, I would probably take Acuna over Vlad at the moment, but I think its closer. I don't hold Acuna's defense in the same esteem as I do Andruw's, but the fact that Vlad may have to move to first base gives Acuna the edge for me. I still like Vlad's bat better, but the total package makes me want Acuna more

Rarely indeed. I think the only one I can think of was the Delmon YOung for Matt Garza type of trade. Even then they weren't prospects at that point but very young major leaguers.

Short answer to the question, I'd trade him for anyone young and under control. Bryant, Judge, Altuve, Trout, and a handful of others. No prospect is a sure thing. Delmon Young, Lastings Milledge, Brien Taylor, Ben Grieve, Sean Burroughs, Drew Henson, Brandon Wood (I admit too, I loved Brandon Wood and wanted the Braves to get him) Corey Patterson, Paul Wilson, Matt Bush, and so many more who never amounted to anything in the majors. Not even counting guys like Rocco Baldelli and Grady Sizemore who had health issues.

What else is someone supposed to do in ATL after the baseball game? That aquarium? Sit around and sweat?

Doesn't matter. If acuna is a star he won't be on the braves after age 30.
