Alfaro strikes out with runners on 1st-2nd, 3-0 Nats after 2.
do y'all know if they usually archive they Facebook games via Youtube? I ask because I wanted to watch the replay of it since my feed today sucked. I hate these Facebook games. I have an MLB.tv account btw but I don't know if they archive these Facebook games. If they do it isn't showing up for me yet.
Zimmerman solo jack, 4-0 Washington.
Sanchez is among the best in exit velocity, today his best fastball was 94 mph (93.6) and his slowest pitch was a 69 mph change-up. He also had some curveballs at key times at around 70 mph. Those slow pitches along with his cutter and being able to hit 90-93 mph no problem if needed is a good combination for a crafty veteran like him. He is a much better pitcher this year.

Yea, last series he hit a PH hit homer in game one and then started the next three in the 4 game series and hit homers in three straight outside of the final game. But even that game he had a multi-hit game vs the Nats. He has been at his best vs the Nats this year.
You know me, I have wanted to for a while now but since it hasn't happened I don't see it happening after an off day. I didn't like Freeman playing in that Boston game when it was supposed to be a clean day off either. Yea he hit a homer but we still lost and he still played too. So no real off day. Thankfully they both get an off day today.

I still think AA's Duvall pick-up will help too, but if may not be until next season since Snit despite his high praise of him has used him wrong. Putting him in RF against Boston was dumb and also seems to have decided not to start him enough now. That will make him even worse pinch hitting as he is not use to playing seldom. But those thinking he should be let go over this small sample are overreacting as some did about Culberson's first month which was even worse. But since that terrible month Culberson has had an OPS of .900 vs righties. That is impressive.
Duvall's numbers since coming too Atlanta are about as bad as humanly possible. But that's not the real reason for concern.
The reason for concern are the signs that his bat is slowing and his power is slipping. It's a 3 year trend, not just 50 PAs. Considering he just turned 30 and the fact he's never had a great eye or hit tool, he's a good bet to collapse as a hitter.
