Of course Inciarte isn't playing the one game I get to see live.

What can we flip d'Arnaud for at the deadline?
I think the bigger problem is that it doesn't matter whether Francoeur hits well against LHP; he's not part of the Braves' future, whereas both Smith and Inciarte very well may be.
Johnson, Beckham, and even d'Arnaud at other matters: they might fetch something at the deadline, and they're not really blocking any young players of consequence. But Francoeur is what he is; meanwhile Smith and Inciarte need to be in the lineup almost every day.

Well, it looks like Folty is back to sucking.
It was more bad luck, but no excuses!
Sometimes I think the BABIP gods hate our pitchers at times.
We suck and have really bad luck at the same time.
Seeing eye lead off single, HBP, passed ball, bloop single, two runs--bad things happen to bad teams.
Folty has actually looked pretty good. Mixing speeds and locating to both sides of the plate. Just got a little unlucky after making a mistake and hitting Kang.

Folty has had some cheap hits against him, but he makes too many two strike pitches right over the heart of the plate. For example, that last line out was another 0-2 pitch that was too good, just like the one before that was fouled off.

Gordon has been hot, but after that walk I'd want him to take a few pitches. Now this inning is likely done.
Folty is swinging at balls outside, that is four straight balls and now strikeouts on another one way outside. Not a single strike that AB.
Next time give him the take sign, if so Mallex is up with bases loaded...
I really love how well Folty has been locating his slider for strikes. He needs to get better at using it as a strikeout pitch though.

Folty's done. He's never shown the mental fortitude to deal with what's happened to him tonight.
