4th is a good spot for Acuna...he can be an aggressive base runner ahead of the guys in the lower half of the order

Some are. Some aren’t. This place just overrates the Braves ones.

Out of Folty, Minter, Viz, Acuna, Albies, Camargo, Freeman which of those did we overrate? Folty and Viz of course not being drafted ornsigned by us but did come through our system.

Viz had been with us since 2010 and we went out and got him back from the Cubbies.

He was originally a Yanks farmhand. But we did call him up IIRC.

you’re telling me fans sometimes overrate their players??? unbelievable.

what about the other part of your post tho? about albies? easier to speak from ignorance than look something up real quick?

The hardest player to figure out where to bat to me is Albies. After seeing that RHH Albies OBP I like to see Albies leadoff against lefties and Inciarte bat leadoff against righties. Then go Acuna, Freeman, Donaldson. But since Inciarte tends to start the season slow, and Acuna wants to leaoff, I'm just as happy having Acuna start the season in the leadoff slot and only switch it if OBPs indicate something else could work better.

Great post and I agree, just switch between those 2 and have the others set and they can move to the 5 spot or if a lefty have flowers, then six spot

    Left hand starter

    Albies
    Ronnie
    Freeman
    Donaldson
    Neck
    Flowers
    Inciarte
    Wonder Twin 1

    Right hand starter

    Incierte
    Ronnie
    Freddie
    Josh
    Neck
    Albies
    McCann
    Wonder Twin 1

That is just me, what do you all think?
