Justin looked woeful, but a great inning nonetheless. Glad to see BJ continue to hit. If we can get .220-.240 out of BJ, I'd be ecstatic. Heyward has made much better swings the last two games.

With production from 1-2, this lineup is scary.

Agree. The dude is a whack job and you can see it in his eyes. He's got some serious anger issues and they really need to make him piss in a cup or off him some kind of treatment.

Hale has actually pitched alright today. As a fifth starter this is all you should expect.

Always a big if, but if BJ can get it going this year and Uggla can produce as well, the lineup will be scary. I have plenty of faith with Heyward getting back on track.

    Great shut down inning.

He has been for over a year now. It's honestly amazing to watch the guy. I wouldn't be surprised to see him win the batting title in the next couple of years. His power is beginning to develop too...

If BJ can actually hit with some power, and not strike out a zillion times, I'd be whatever the word is more is for happier than ecstatic.

this is where baseball should be more like hockey. If someone gets out of line in hockey, the best fighter on the other team beats you up. If your teammates don't help you, you keep getting beat up until you stop being an ass.

You have to consider yourself lucky to get Hale through 5. Asking him to go 6 is a recipe for a loss. Guy is bad at pitching.

Not sure why you'd have Thomas warming up here if you aren't putting him in for this situation - hopefully it works out
