Seems like they should pick up in June. I assume a week or two after the draft. Any confirmation of the roster as far as whether all the big international signings from last year will bet there? Or are some in the DSL?
I know Barrett Kleinknecht was named the coach during the winter.

Based on MILB.com's schedule, their first game is June 26. I would imagine most of the big signings will start in the GCL, based on our recent history. I would think they will definitely have Maitan, Severino, and Gutierrez at least.Originally Posted by Southcack77
Sorry to split hairs, but Barrett was named manager. Braves lifer Rick Albert is the coach and another veteran, Larry McCall, is pitching coach. Interesting thing here is that Barrett is 28 years old, Albert is 66 and McCall is 64.
I think it's safe to say the GCL Braves will be the best short season team every assembled in the history of professional baseball.
