Playing 33 games in 34 days is getting to us. Luckily, we're getting a couple of days off this week.

Acuna is 2 for last 21 with 8 Ks and the 2 hits were both bloop hits to rf

This team looks dead. They're making a mediocre pitcher look like Bob Gibson.

Just logged in to call you out. Flaherty isn't a mediocre pitcher. Early season results, sure, but he's likely to come out with a mid threes ERA. He's good.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Don’t worry. There’s a sabermetric out there somewhere to justify his performance at the plate recently.

Agreed. He’s young but has very good stuff.

Is there one to justify your terrible posting?

FIP over 4, gives up too many HRs, walks a tad too many he's pretty average. Not a guy you expect to see shut this lineup down like this. The Braves look tired.

they probably are. Last night’s loss hurts a lot. Win that one and this one is whatever, tbh.

You know, I readily accept the fact that losses happen and the other team wants to win too. However, I do have a hard time dealing with the fact that the other team is out hustling us while we appear to be "mailing in" an indifferent effort. Momentum is fickle and we've done ourselves no favors the past couple of games.

Hope we're ready to play on Tuesday because it doesn't appear that we were tonight.

I’m sure the Braves are trying. But, it is pretty frustrating that the Cardinals have done almost nothing to win these last two games.
