I think theres a bunch of players rated very similarly from 1-15 and their rankings are interchangeable. I dont see it as any different than what the Cubs did a few years ago drafting Brandon Schwarber #4 when he was rated 17th. I thought we went throught this last year with Soroka and Riley.

There are 25 more picks before the Braves go again. There is no reason to stress until pick 39. I've seen so many guys snatched away in the pick before (like Zack Wheeler). Until then, I remain stress-free.

I've read other sources saying Anderson has a middle of the rotation starter ceiling. Yippee!

I was a victim of viewing the MLB draft like the NFL draft last year. I quickly realized I was wrong. I'll never freak out over a 'reach' in the baseball draft again.

One possibility, too, if we're still well under slot after 44, is to throw some serious money in later rounds at guys who were thought to be going to college regardless and see what happens.

Another thought is if we don't spend all of our draft money, then we can spend it on the international free agent market. The Brothers John are always one step ahead.

The ones he's giving the Braves who apparently are going by it as gospel. Just because someone is a writer doesn't mean their rankings should be dismissed in favor of a particular FO.
