I'm down but like the other poster said I'm not sure I'm giving up much. Like nobody in the top 20.

Show me where I've said I want Sale.

I agree, at this point don't think he'd be a great trade headliner.

Giolito is good but he's not too 10 prospect good. The stuff for me is good, not electric.

Don't see how they would be stupid... that team healthy would be one of the best on paper in quite a long time.

How exactly is he part of any platoon that totals an .800+ OPS?

The Braves would be foolish to trade Albies for a rotation upgrade right now.
Well considering he played well when his wrist wasn't put together by duck tape... maybe just maybe he is as good as he's shown verses righties when healthy. Also, way to use a player who still barely has any MLB at bats at a still young age. I agree to your bet and you're still a douche non stop

considering Rodriguez had an .860 OPS last year.... with a decent BABIP and adjustments... but I guess your crystal ball says he can't even approach anywhere close to that again.

I don't think anyone here is advocating trading for Sale AND Cutch. And the Nats farm, while good, is not as good as ours currently.

Yes, yes, and well, yes. I don't think ANYONE here was wants destroy our farm system like that. We had a HORRIBLE system for several years and we know how much it sucks. I get it from the Nats' perspective, they have maybe a 2-3 year window, they want a championship, but this would be so stupid. Unless God shines his light upon them, they'd be so bad for the next 6-7 years after a POTENTIAL championship. Just a stupid move.

I mean the Nats have the monetary means to stay competitive for awhile. But moves like this would likely put them in the position of the Phillies now. As good as Halladay, Lee, Oswalt and Pence were for the Phillies, they ultimately never won the WS with that bunch. And they're still hamstrung with that awful Howard contract.

Them trading for both would be do or die. If Harper bolts in 2 years then sale would be the only contract that is tradable and he would be down to his last year so not even that great. I gues they could trade turner. But everyone else is older and/or on a bloated contract. They would have money but signing vets at above market for their decline years is not a good way to go about it. Phollies and Stankies are good role models for them if they decide to "go for it"
