I hope other teams' fans say this statement about Swarzak and Luke Jackson. lmao

Everyone knows I love Luke. He's probably best suited for the seventh - or - eighth inning, but I'm a fan!

I don’t think we will score another run this year.

I'm not nuts. This is not a great year for the NL, WC #2 is probably going to be an 85 win team from what I can tell.

For the disastrous idea of Braves getting in legit danger to miss, it'd take a 27-39 finishing out record. A 66 win pace. Even when the Braves were struggling earlier, it was around the .500 mark. That might lose them the division if that happens again over a big period of time, but the playoffs? Big lul.

Maybe you don't like this team for whatever reason, like Josh Donaldson being on the team, but contract the freaking franchise if a collapse like I listed happens. It's an almost for sure playoff team.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Damn. I just realized we have one hit and they have two. What a really sucky day to give up a two-run homer to a guy that can't hit worth ****.

Pretty much. Also good to recognize that the 2011 team would of made the playoffs as well if there was a 2nd WC that year.

I mean, Acuna swung at ball four and popped up a flat-ass fastball down the middle. What a day so far.

    Clearly Acuna is overrated

Dear God. We are just pissing away chances.

Ozzie should have hit the one down the middle 400+ feet.

If we lose today it will definitely be time to overpay in a trade.

I admire your confidence and rely on your analytics like they are bedrock, but never say never. I have seen the 1982 Braves almost inexplicably lose 19 of 21. I have seen the 1983 miss the playoffs after leading the West past midseason. If I am not mistaken it was a 5-6 game high water mark that year too. I have seen the 1984 Braves drop like a stone after Horner broke his wrist. So yes, to think anything is wrapped now is nuts.

Hopefully we bounce back tomorrow... it'd suck to hit the skids for a stretch with nats up next.

And this one may legitimately be out of reach now. Damn. What a terrible way to end this series, especially when the Nats play the Orioles. Not that those two really correlate, but we really needed to keep hot going into the series with Washington.

Way the offense looks now and with the pitching matchups we'll be fortunate to win one game this weekend

I think we'll be fine and the offense will get it going at home. I expect to win two of the four games, honestly.

And there was no wild card during those seasons as well which is why the Braves % to make the playoffs is where it's at.
