Danny Santana back on a minor league deal - gotta love having him around for the versatility.
We also picked up Rob Brantly as a safety net in case something happens to Flowers or Suzuki - really good sign there IMO.
Gwinnett just keeps getting better.

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

I must admit I kinda like all 3 deals.

I don’t have the energy to break down any of those trades, but if AA finds a team willing to value Teheran as a 2-3 win SP with 3 years of control and $30M-$40M in surplus value, he would be wise to trade him now.
Getting back another pitching prospect as the return would be a little silly though.
Something with the Brewers centered around Santana could be interesting.
Don't know enough about the other deals, but I highly doubt the Twins would deal Rosario even though he's a likely candidate for a regress. If you could get Javier for Teheran straight-up, it might make better sense for both sides although I think the Braves would have to pay part of Teheran's salary to get that deal done. The writer seems to think that the Twins will keep Lewis at SS and he may be moving to the OF. Probably a stud wherever he plays.
Adonis Garcia likely going to Korea.

Adonis leaving also clears a spot on the 40-man.
Santana is on a minor league deal, but he would have been competing with Adonis for a bench spot.
Right now if we go with a 4 man bench, it looks like this: Suzuka, Adams, Santana, Ruiz. I think we will pick up someone and one of Adams, Santana, Ruiz will get sent down to AAA to start the season.

A little surprised we didn't take a shot at Zach Duke for less than $2 million. Not that he'd have been much of an upgrade (and I'm actually dying to see what we've got in Lindgren and Gomez).
Maybe AA actually is pooling resources on the off chance Frazier really can be had on a 1 year or 1 plus deal.

The only thing I worry about with that is - what do you do if Camargo needs to move to SS (for either a game or two - or God forbid longer). Ruiz playing against lefties at this level isn't something I think any of us look forward to, and I'm not at all comfortable with Santana in the infield anymore.

Culberson will be on the bench for sure with Suzuki. After that I have no idea. I think we’re still looking. I’m hoping it’s Camargo cause we’ve upgraded 3B.
I don’t think Santana or Ruiz start the year simply due to the fact they have an option to be sent down. Adams has a good shot to make a bench spot and is out of options.
