    Top ten Braves Prospects......................................... ............period..

Who you got? Apparently Albies is currently not a prospect, but I'm curious where folks would rank him if he was still a prospect, so for the purpose of this thread assume that he's still a prospect:

    1) Albies
    2) Acuna
    3) Gohara
    4) Soroka
    5) Allard
    6) Wright
    7) Anderson
    8) Waters
    9) Fried
    10) Minter
    thank you weso1!

    ....

    1. Acuna.
    2. Gohara.
    3. Soroka.
    4. Wright.
    5. Allard.
    6. Anderson.
    7. Pache.
    8. Wentz.
    9. Wilson.
    10. Riley.

I would actually put Albies above Acuna if he were still rookie eligible.

Wilson, Wentz, Contreras, Waters are all in the discussion for me. Excited to see JCE and Ramos this year to see if they can shoot up the list.

    Gohara
    Wright
    Soroka
    Anderson
    Allard
    Riley
    Fried
    Toussaint

Acuna is still #1 because his hitting profile is insane but Albies makes up a lot of ground in that race for being a plus defender up the middle. That value carries a lot of weight.

If Albies were still considered a prospect, it would be close between him and Acuna. I guess I would lean slightly in favor of Acuna.

    1. Acuna
    2. Albies
    3. Gohara
    4. Soroka
    5. Wright
    6. Anderson
    7. Allard
    8. Pache
    9. Riley
    10. Wentz

Something I'm really interested to see is if Weigel can bounce back and become something of interest. He is a dark horse to be in Atlanta's top 10 by the end of the season

I don’t think Weigel is expected back for real until like 2019 (as far as making an impact), unfortunately. He looked good before his injury though.

No way Davidson is even close to Wentz or Touki. He probably isn’t a top 20 prospect in the system at this point.

I don't think he is above Wentz or Touki, but Davidson has been getting a good bit of love from some of the scouting community. He might be a top 15 prospect at this point, and I definitely think he is in the top 20.

    All subjective. He's my darkhorse.

The actual order if Albies is included goes:

    1. Acuna (FV 65+ nearly MLB ready)
    2. Albies (FV 60 position prospect already at the MLB level)
    3. Gohara (FV 60 pitching prospect already at the MLB level)
    4. Wright
    5. Soroka (FV 55 top performer)
    6. Allard (I still believe!)
    7. Anderson (FV 55 at lowest level)
    8. Pache (FV 50 position prospect with highest floor)
    9. Riley (borderline FV 50 position prospect over the MLB swingman)
    10. Fried (LHed swingmen out of the BP are valuable)
    11. Wentz (since Albies isn't actually eligible)
HM. Minter (FV 45 MLB ready BP arm)

I think the desire to include albies speaks to a better measure of organizational health than prospect ratings....talent under 25.

The Braves should start to have a bright future with talent under 25 contributing at the MLB level.
