Just saying it isn't preposterous to have them at the top. Those things are useless anyway.

Eh I don't know about that.

I still remember his little girl swipe at the Red Sox 1B glove in the playoffs while he was trying to leg out a single.

Also remember him calling out "I got it!" as he passed by a 3b one time on during infield fly with 2 outs. The ball dropped in as the the 3b let it go.

He's done some pretty Bush league stuff on the field over the yrs. Certainly more so than most players from my memory.

Yes, Arod acts like a jackass on the field.

I could care less if someone threw at A-Rod. Screw him.

I don't find him screaming "HA" at Howie Clark in 2007 more egregiously Bush league than, for example, the hidden ball trick, or sliding well outside of the base path in attempt to break up a DP. And as Braves fans, it doesn't seem fair to judge too much over glove slapping in the playoffs.

He's no angel, that's for sure, but I've never heard of him threaten to put opposing pitchers "six feet under" for plunking him, or literally screaming at fans out of sheer petulance.

That's really the only point I was trying to make.

strange, he has a 1.5Million buyout on his contract for next year. (6.5M if they keep him). Maybe the PTBNL is 1.5 m?

The lowly Cubs are pounding the Nats 8-0 so far tonight. That's embarrassing for the Nats.

Update, it's now 11-1 Cubs. The Nats will be 16 back of us after it is over. They might as well get ready for next year. They don't even have a shot at the Wild Card now.

Pretty depressing on their forum tonight. 11-1 drumming by the Cubbies, worst home record in baseball someone said.

That is embarrassing, esp. considering the Cubs did it without Rizzo in the line-up.

Seems like they hope to get more for him than they gave up.

Molina has found his timing, is 4/5 tonight and has almost caught up with CJ.

They've been unsuccessful at team building so they've decided to get into flipping backup outfielders.

That's a winning strategy. Make a waiver claim on a guy then try to move him. WEEEEE

Nate McLouth is having a really solid year. Already has 28 SBs. I didn't think he could be fixed. Maybe there's hope for BJ too.

LOL at the Nationals. What the hell are they doing this year? Just a miserable year that is nothing short of a complete failure.
