    Gohara Up, Phillips Down

I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand I would rather Gohara be starting in AAA. He was up to 5 innings in his last start. Let him have a few more starts there.

Otoh he could well help the pen quite a bit this year. So I can see the rationale for keeping him there. Not sure if this is a short-term thing or not. The team is in a position this year where weighing these short vs long-term considerations is not as easy. On balance, I lean toward having him continue to stretch out as a starter.

Not a fan of how we've juggled our pen. If wisler and sims are thought of as potential pen guys, use them as relievers in milb. If gohara is being brought up for the pen, same thing

I totally agree. Too much jerking him around this year following his disasterous off season.

This is maybe a long shot, but is there any chance the Braves called up Gohara so he could get the opportunity to interact with Sabathia, who hes always looked up to? This would be the only opportunity.

I’m sure Gohara would relish the opportunity to learn more about how to efficiently attack the postgame spread.

I’d think he could long man or spot start after going 5 last time out.

Gohara should take Teheran's spot in the rotation after today. It's just time for Julio to go.

What other choice did we really have last night. Newdomb and Teheran both put us in bad spots.
