Wisler/bullpen game actually makes the most sense with the iffy weather reports when you think about it actually - don't waste Newcomb/Julio preparation and then potentially have them go 2 or 3 innings.
More importantly you don't give Snitker the opportunity to run them back out there if there's an hour-plus delay early on.

It is crazy that when someone gets hurt, we pretty much have another rotation of solid guys who can fill in.
Man I wanted to see Fried start. Oh well.
Crazy. Gohara will be an full-time start soon enough! We'll probably see Fried or Allard in the rotation after that.

haven't looked to verify this, but on the radio they said that Newcomb has gotten an extra day of rest before all but one start this year
Might have something to do with the fact the Marlins have a 94 wRC+ vs LHP, and a much worse 72 wRC+ vs RHers.
