I'm actually looking forward to someone defending it. I could care less if Mac isn't all that great pinch-hitting. He's still one of our three best hitters, which makes him infinitely better than a struggling 4th OF.
Sad to say it but our CF situation is just sad right now. Neither BJ or Schafer are getting it done. It's a shame Reed Johnson is not ready to play. Also, we get a great effort from Freddy Garcia and it means nothing with this inept offense.
