Atlanta is worse. Never seen a more poorly ran security check in my life.

Bad AB by Acuna, costly, should have been on first with Freeman up. Ump's zone hurt too.

That umpire has had a wide zone, but he hasn’t been giving the high strike like that.

Really depends on what you're into—but I really think one day, max, for the Loop area on any Chicago vacation is sufficient. Really, just enough time to walk up Michigan and down State, hit the Art Institute for a few hours, maybe take a trip to the viewing platforms of Hancock or Willis, maybe hit up a restaurant down there—though I'd suggest just walking (or cabbing or pink/green-lining) to Greek Town or Randolph/Old Fulton Market area for much better food/booze options.

Besides that, it's really a neighborhood thing. So, if you hit Wrigley for a game, it's definitely worth navigating the sea of Chads and Trixies to get a feel for Wrigleytown; from there, you can head up or down Clark to some differently-interesting neighborhoods—with Andersonville, around Clark & Foster, being one of my favorite (fascinating mix of old Swedish, newer Vietnamese and Thai, and newest hip lesbian cultures). Off the blue-line, Ukrainian Village (Division stop) and Logan Square (California and Logan stops) are dope, as is Wicker Park's central six-point of North/Milwaukee/Damen (Damen stop).

But this is hardly exhaustive, obviously.

I have Precheck so never have been subjected to the ‘other’ line at ATL but I’ve heard stories of people waiting 45 minutes or longer.

Once you get past security I think Hartsfield is the best airport in the US in terms of amenities.

Although that’s not saying much, I suppose.

def not a bad AB. brought it full and took a borderline called strike 3.
obviously a strikeout hurts there. but he seems to be seeing the ball well.

It’s 2018...you don’t have to live in a big city to make a good living. I’ll take moderate weather and no traffic over anything any large city has to offer.
I didn't mind the winters; it was the short, intensely-humid summers that got me—gross reminders of my youth in Dixie, where the wet air was an omnipresent sore. But those beautiful, pristine, crystal-clear days—whether in Autumn, Winter, or Spring—were unmatched, likely in part because of their relative scarcity.

Meanwhile, Chicago's not congested at all if you don't drive. While it could always be better, CTA is in pretty good shape (especially relative to NYC's system), and has plenty of 24-hour options; the joys of being able to get anywhere without a car, at pretty much any time (and at any BAC)—for me, at least—far outweighs the minor conveniences of owning wheels.

Very inconsistent zone. Sign of a bad umpire.

Yeah. That's a walk with a consistent zone. I don't mind the take there at all. Especially since all he could have done with that pitch is pop it up

He chased ball four high and outside 3-1 before taking strike three.
