Pretty sure that's what they are going for now after they have an introduction movie for a character. Also makes sense in terms of the Hulk since they don't fully outright own his movie rights. Universal Studios still has a stake in any kind of solo Hulk movie so we will never get one of those again. He's just going to keep showing up in Avengers and other movies from time to time.
Gal Gadot is ****ing gorgeous.

Nobody Speak on Netflix is really good.

The Mummy was decent enough for a summer blockbuster.

Spiderman Homecoming is great. Will have to see if it stands up to a second viewing but early impressions from me are it's one of the best superhero films. Up there with Avengers, Iron Man, and Winter Soldier.
And no lines about great power and great responsibility being thrown at us for the 3rd time. Instead it took a slightly different approach to the growth of Spiderman. Also the shocking cameos. So many good ones.
And for my money Michael Keaton is the second best MCU villain after Loki.

Dunkirk was pretty good.

Actually it was.
Always wondered what would had happened if the Germans had advanced on dunkirk. They would had destroyed the 400,000 allied soldiers there. Would the British army been able to recover? Would the British had retreated to Canada as the plan? If hitler used all his might on the east since the west was destroyed would he had taken Russia?

Along with The Thin Red Line, one of the best narratives on the horrors of war I have seen on the screen. Nolan did a nice job. I could toss a couple of spoilers out there on the storytelling, but I'll let viewers figure them out for themselves. Just a very good movie. I can see Best Picture and Best Director Oscar noms, but it should clean up in the technically-related categories. Sounds, cinematography, and editing are all just superb.
Speaking of Malick, the only film I've seen over the past two months was a seventh or eighth re-watch of Days of Heaven. It's still magnificent.
I have the Criterion edition of A New World, and I'm going to try to squeeze in a viewing before I make my move to Montana.

You know every "history person" has his/her era/country, etc. right? Mine is and always has been Germany and the 1930s into WWII. Had it not been for the evacuation the British and French were toast, regardless of their numbers. If Hitler had allowed the Panzers to attack the British and French were toast, though admittedly there would have been some pretty good casualties. Whatever else happened this should have been the sign for Hitler that Goering was just a BIG bag of hot morphine laced air who couldn't be counted on to fulfill his grand claims or delusions of grandeur.
