    7/5/15 GDT: Braves, Miller try to keep the line moving vs. Phillies

    Is this game the official Hamels audition reel? Got to wonder if this might be his final game with the Phillies;

    A bit surprised to see Uribe sitting today. He can definitely use a day off (and Ciriaco needs to play), but you'd think Juan would be the guy you want in there with the other lefty-mashers against Hamels if you're really trying to stay hot and in the playoff conversation.
    Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

    Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

    AJ is certainly durable he's in there almost every game. Pretty surprising for a 38 year old catcher. Day game after a night game most 28 year old catchers sit.

    Ciriaco just missed a grand slam. They need to get on Cole early, so the Phillies will wilt again.

    Pure dumbassery by Gomes--you know, the guy we're paying for his example and veteran leadership.

    Shelby with high pitch count so far, needs a quick inning soon or he'll be lucky to make it to 6.

    Miller just has not had his control the last few games. He's throwing balls like it is not man's business.

    Gotta take charge in the upcoming schedule before the break:

    After the break, it's Cubs, Dodgers, @Cardinals, @Orioles....Yikes.

    We probably aint making the playoffs if we're being realistic.

    But the team has done alot better than anyone could have asked/hoped.

    Miller/Hamels on similar pitch counts, but Miller has thrown alot more high-stretch pitches.
