If this team would just focus and start trying again I'm sure they would go on another good run

Legit question, do you believe there is a mental or psychological aspect to the game?

Hard to be mad about tonight, we likely lose even without Kershaw's 2-run single. Just one of the All-Time Greats doing what he does. At least we caught a break with Philly losing. Philly will get swept early next week at Fenway so we need to take care of business vs. Miami and then the Mets. I think the Dodgers are the best team in baseball but it would be nice to at least win the NL East in Chipper's HOF induction year.

    Obviously.

The hilarious part is you sitting here constantly diagnosing the mental state of the entire team from your couch.

The Braves are losing because their opponents are playing better. Simple as that.

And the 6 errors over 2 games, most of which were mental lapses, leading to a bunch of runs? Were those caused by better teams? (You could argue Markakis should have been charged with an error leading to two runs last night when the ball hit his glove but at least that appeared to be less of a mental mistake).

The Braves have played a lot of good teams recently. However, the Braves are also going through a team wide slump in several areas. It hasn't taken better teams to beat us.
