I just want to know if they will be elidgible since all I hear is about Muslim and Christians. Trump says he wants to prioritize Christians. Would atheist Syrians get second priority? Same priority as the Muslims? Lower priority than the Muslims? I don't think it's arguable that atheists are more in danger in the middle east than christians. Reports I have read say Syrian kids are taught atheists should be put to death for being an apostate in their school books. If the threat is religious bases terrorism you would think Atheists would be put at the front of the line.

Sure, if secular atheists are threatened - which I suspect they are - for their religious beliefs or for whatever reason, then that would constitute, per refugee definitions to be used, a criteria for receiving refuge.

Big picture, it is worth noting that FNC played up the "Muslim shooter" angle, and left it sitting there for hours. In light of recent criticism of the media, I feel like this is worth noting.

There are consequences to extreme rhetoric. Tragedies like this are the logical consequence of same. I'm not saying this to score political points, but to underscore that there is a common thread to extremism that encourages, or at least winks at, violence. Extreme nationalist/anti-immigrant rhetoric owns this as much as much as violent Islamists own violence committed in their name.

Not at everyone's table. Problem is there are several tables... The Bannon/Milo alt-right that incites and plays with the nine-Nazi crowd is, in my estimation, dangerous.
