GDT 5/20 Same Lineup. Better pitcher.

We got four straight singles against Cease, up 2-0.

In the first inning he had some fastballs just under 95 at like 94.7 ish... don't think it's that abnormal to get a little more warm in the first... he's been 95-97 since then... on the at-bat app too.

He's also always had the ability to take a little off for more deception... many power pitchers do

Is speed or accuracy more important in pitching?
Accuracy hands down. A major league hitter can turn on a 95+ mph fastball easily if it's not placed in a good location. A pitcher like Greg Maddox who averaged an 88 mph fastball but had pinpoint location is a Hall of Famer. Placement and off speed pitches is what makes great pitchers.

Mariano Rivera who was probably the greatest closer of all time pitched in the mid-90's but his cut fast ball is what got the batter.

If the Braves can tack on a few more runs I wouldn’t mind seeing Lopez pulled after 6. I know he has a good pitch count but these are the games that are perfect for controlling innings for the starters.

Ronnie with a double - that’s a three hit game.

What the hell has the team mom been doing with these boys since last night ?
