It definitely needs to be rehabilitated. There are some glaring issues with the system they have in place.

MLB has this insane idea that admitting an umpire kicked a call somehow ruins the whole sport. It's why replay doesn't work. It's why they tried to sell the infield fly as correct. It's why guys like West and Bucknor haven't been fired.

...and that protection of umpires makes so many games unwatchable.

Once again, umpires should not be the ones looking over fellow umpires' shoulder. Put a former player, a reporter, or a stripper in the booth and you'd get a more accurate, more objective decision.

If the purpose of replay is to get it right it has to be overturned. There are obviously other agendas at work in the replay system.

While the Braves were hard on luck lately, traditionally the Braves are a popular team around the majors.

I highly doubt they're trying to f*** the Braves. I think this system is just turrible.

But the Cubs game...and Inciarte being called out at first like twice as an overturn? I don’t think the MLB is very consistent with that
