    To me, the Braves just got the equivalent of Gorman without wasting the #8 pick on him.

    Kinda looks like a Riley clone in the corner OF.

    Braves obviously just drafted a middle of the order bat

    Over .900 ops all 3 years of college. Here's his walk and k rates his 3 years at school...

    Freshman = 14.7 bb, 12.9 k
    Soph = 11.8 bb, 16.9 k
    Junior = 19.2 bb, 15.7 k

    He plays position: bat

    Probably ends up being a useful MLB player if he can play defense anywhere other than 1B.

    Jenista is a solid pick. Not as sexy a pick as Rocker would have been, but there’s a lot of power to be found in that bat and he’s supposedly athletic enough to at least play in a corner pretty well.

    K rate is a bit high right? Has to have a low hit grade

    I can’t imagine Jenista is an underslot signing, so I’m going to go out on a limb and say we might be moving on to the Senior Signings portion of the draft in round 4

    Blue Jays straight trolling drafting Conine.

    Jenista was the MVP of the Cape Cod League last year.

    Two scenarios. One, his tools average out to 53 and you always round down in the overall grade. Two, of the three tools he has a 55 in (power, run, and arm) only power really effects your value. Fielding is clearly superior to arm when talking about defense. And hit/power are clearly superior to run when talking about offense.

    Along with adding arguably the top prep pitcher in the draft. Nice job early. Losing that 3rd sucks.

    Where would this draft be without Hart/Coppy?

    I project Jenista's ceiling as a decent bat off the bench for our AA club.
    thank you weso1!
