If a team averages 5.5 runs per game they usually alternate scoring 5-6-5-6-5-6 every game like clockwork.
I was about to say, 7 runs on Friday, 5 yesterday, 5 today. Seems pretty consistent to me.

With a suffering pen, it would've been nice to try to get one more inning out of him (plus his spot in the order is up in the 6th). It could be like last week when McCarthy said he was pooped after like 82 pitches.
