You forgot to list Gattis's HR and RBI numbers.

Seems like Aardsma could pitch in 100 games a season

I wonder if this lead is Aardsma-proof.

Yep, Gattis is among tops on his team and homers and has a big lead in RBI's. That's good for a first place team, esp. considering the big games he's won them too. Plus he had a terrible start that hurts his overall numbers.

So with a lefty starting tomorrow, does fredi sit Bourn in favor of Gomes?

Not hard to believe considering the big hits, near the top on his team in homers and leading pretty good in RBI's too. Gattis has slumped in his last few games after a strong start since the All-Star break. But it's not like he's hit .182 like Carter who has also played a lot for Houston.

This team continues to disappoint. It can't even figure out how to lose when it's supposed to.

Batting .400 in this game was a nice stat.

Fair enough. He certainly has one of the more interesting stat lines you'll see. Glad to see he's been able to stay healthy and he's made the most of a home ball park that maximizes his strength.

Guys, I think Nick Swisher has a bit of a problem being shy. Maybe he'll come out of his shell at some point..................

While he has been much better at home, he actually had a terrible first month or so there and overall too. I think he was pressing and trying to hit homers too much early on, while now at home he is more settled in and doing better. His numbers are better since the All-Star break outside of his recent slump.

He and Bourne are great additions. What a trade! This team is a lot better than we were a few days ago. How it translates to wins from here on is anybody's guess.
