It is ok to hope we lose. I for one have been pulling against them for the last month in hopes of getting a better manager. I mean we was not going to make the playoffs anyway so why does it even matter anymore.

    Ever?

BJ has talent,he'll hit another one for the Braves or some other team.

Braves need a loss coupled with a Marlins and Padres win to jump ahead of those teams in terms of draft picks. I'm assuming how that works -- both teams had winning records vs. the Braves, and they would have the same record. The Mets would also have the same record (or be a game ahead) and have a winning record vs. Atlanta, too. Hopefully the Rays win as well.

Braves just need to go out there and get things done today and put up a big L.

Not how it works. If we end up with the same record as other teams this year, the tiebreaker is based on record last year. We had a better record last year than all of them, so if we end up tied we will pick after them. The win yesterday eliminated the chance to move up 3 spots with a loss today. All year long we've been pulling for the Braves to win, but now when it would really help to lose a game and move up in the draft, we finally win the damn game. Figures.

If we win today, we will pick 16th. If we lose and the Mets win, we will move up to 15th and the Mets would pick 16th.

    That makes no sense.

    Task: Save Fredi

I'm beginning to think we unfortunately see Fredi coach for the Atlanta Braves in 2015. I appreciate how this organization is run and how loyal it is, but John, John, and Bobby have to see and realize that Fredi is certainly not a championship coach -- not with the current roster or not with any roster that would be better.

At least they took care of the no-hitter and shutout right off the bat (Bonifacio's bat--bad pun).

    Hmmm.

Carpenter pitching with a lead in the 8th inning on the last game of the season... where have I seen this before.

No-hitter by Zimmerman. Wow. That team has everything to play for right now.
