I swear Chip learned a month ago that some people say “ambush” when a hitter swings at the first pitch, and he’s intent to say it as many times as possible.

Freddie does it again. Single after Swanson DBL expands the score.

Cy and I were going to do a drinking game at the bar on Chipisms. We wisely did not.

This is normally a team we drop three of four from at home. This has been a weird series so far but a great one. At least the offense is doing great when the pitching is not.

Nice! The two hard ones out of the way. Now just a double and a HR. Easy.

That's not to say there hasn't been bad pitching at times, but really for all the games against the Pirates, there's been a whole lot of them hitting it where it's pitched and the Braves not used to it because of most other teams being teams that try to lift and elevate.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
