That slider on the corner was a better pitch and called a ball than the strike two pitch just off the corner.

Keuchel getting mad vs Rendon. The Ump has a narrow strike zone and Flowers can't catch the ball. I'd be mad also.

Probably why no one wanted to lose a pick for him.

kimbrel has struggled starting late, so my guess is it is effecting both somewhat.

He should sue Contreras for ruining his career. Bullying shouldn't be allowed, poor Tyler

I mean you can excuse his first couple of starts with his lack of ST but he's still slightly worse than his last few seasons if you exclude that. The fact is that he's a mid rotation starter who gets a lot of value by pitching a lot of innings. And that actually drops a bit by going to the NL. Nice guy to have but giving up a pick and/or multiple years isn't smart for obvious reasons.

Kimbrel sucked the 2nd half of last year. At 31 and being a reliever he can go to **** at anytime.

So Flowers gives up the passed ball that becomes a run the swings at the first pitch for a lazy fly out... bad start to the game for him

It was a good move for the Braves though.
