Other than Gore, no one in their system is really deemed untouchable. I think most people know Tatis is off limits as well.

We should be able to make something work. We have Gausman and Folty that could both step into their rotation and probably Wright.

They’ll ask just like teams will ask for Pache and Anderson. For a guy like Thor they wanna say they got the other teams best guy and for us and the Pads it’s not the same as if they were talking to another team with lesser prospects as their top guy. Either way I just wanna get a few players that will help us make a deep run in the playoffs and I think AA is targeting guys that will help this year and next.

I mean if they honestly want big ready guys, then a Folty/Gausman/Wright and Ender or Camargo fits the bill. Or sub in Allard for Folty or Gausman.

I mean sure but they also gotta be realistic as well.

Regarding what AA is doing, i dont have a damn clue. I could see something similar to last year, or he makes a splash for a controllable piece no one is talking about.

Geez Mets are dumb; however, I wouldn't bat an eye if they requested Riley and Wright as the meat and potatoes of a Snydergaard trade.

Fine, the Braves have lots of MLB-ready pieces.

Riley plus an arm for Thor.

    Pence/Puig for the OF.

Get a rental LHP for the BP.

    Win the division.

I forgot about Riley but if they want something like Riley, Wright, and a Folty/Gausman with an Allard, then sign me up. I dont see how that would make sense for the Mets though.

I mean I don’t want to miss the news break and discussion. It seems our tv crew won’t say anything on almost deals nearing the finish line. I guess we’ll be able to catch the last hour or so of the MLB Network Trade Deadline Special.

It seems like once a deal is finalized or close, it gets leaked on twitter. Thats how all of AA's deals break. His FO is very very tight lipped, it's impressive but hard for the fans to guess what he's doing.

That AA's Failure thread sure would look good to resurrect right about now...

DK makes our rotation needs less dire. Our pen, on the other hand, is still an absolute mess. Not getting anyone for the pen in the offseason was a failure. Not adding some arms before the deadline would be criminal.

That being said, I expect we'll add a pen arm or two.

    We need more than that.

We need a bona fide ace and OF help.

    They are available.

Get rid of the stupid prospects and get one.

We still need another rotation arm to me. DK and Soroka are the only two pitchers i trust in a playoff series right now if we can hold off the Nats.

And pretty much all the big money BP arms have flopped, but obviously we need a BP arm or two. And Feisand said we're active looking for an outfielder.

To me, we need all 3 of SP/BP/OF help. Whether AA does all of that, i dunno.

The Nats may even beat us for the division if we stand pat.

Scherzer, Strasburg, and Corbin is far superior to DK and Soroka.
