    Hard pass on Duvall.

Machado is intriguing except the Braves arent ready for contention now, and his upcoming contract.

Marlins released Volquez. ESPN reporting that they no longer want to trade Yelich.

The return for Ozuna was pretty weak, didn’t even get one of Grichuk, Balder, Piscotty

they'll move him for the right offer, and they plan to talk with him then discuss.

Once you assume he says he wants a trade then it goes from there.

Yelich isn't gonna stay. Stanton and Ozuna are gone so why would he want too? He'll be traded before the end of the month, I just hope AA is all over it bc the Marlins lost both trades for their other outfielders imo.

Source: In addition to Alcantara and Sierra, other two prospects Marlins receiving in Ozuna deal are rhp Zac Gallen and lhp Daniel Castano.

That's 6th, 9th and 13th best prospects per MLB.com, the other isnt on there.

Doesnt seem like a huge haul for Miami.

I’m betting we won’t get Yelich. It will be decided that price is too high.

If that's the case, I'm okay with it. No need to give up a Tex like haul.

Wow, that's pretty underwhelming. The Cards got $50M-$70M in surplus value for about $40M in prospect value.

An equivalent package from the Braves would have been something along the lines of Newcomb, Pache and a couple warm bodies at the back end of the Braves Top 30 list.

So...why weren't the Braves involved? They didn't need a 4 win guy in LF I guess?

What the hell is AA doing?

I’d give up a Tex size haul for Yelich bc he’s be here for 5 years at a very cheap cost.

I know that AA is new here and wants to see the system little bit but players that can help us are sliding by at a lower cost than usual.

Headley given away by the Yanks.

Piscotty about to be given away by the Cards.

Ozuna sold at a discount of about 20%-30%.

Meanwhile, the Braves are projected to produce about 0 wins combined from LF/RF/3B.

Depending on the cost, if Yelich was made available, I’m all for getting him. Need to be careful though. Any prospect that gets sent to Miami, we’ll see a lot of against the Braves.

Other than Acuna, Albies or possibly Wright, i'd consider anyone in a deal for Yelich given his contract.

It’s a head scratcher for sure. Either we are being lied to about money or we are already looking to the 2019 draft class

Taking into account the return for Ozuna, a package for Yelich straight up could be as light as 2x55s, 1x50, and 2x45s.

If the Braves get Yelich for a package centered around something like Newcomb (55), Allard (55), and Pache (50), I think it would be a nice win for Atlanta.

I think they'd want someone like Wentz or Anderson over Newk, but i'd still do that in a second.

Only one I’d hesitate to trade a little bit is Allard, but if that would be a package for a potential Yelich trade, I’d do it quick.
