Not really if it were to happen. With the catcher tandem beginning to fail, it's probably going to need to be ended after this year. At the very least, one of Flowers or Suzuki likely won't return.
ETA: Unless of course, you don't buy that the Braves are going to be good until it happens by accident (which may be the case if we don't see the year 4 make the playoffs thing), and then it could wind up that way.
Whatever happens this year, this team really needs to figure out how to stop backsliding in second halves.

Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
The Braves should go all in to get Yelich and Realmuto when they had the chance.

When i see everyone making moves you can tell this is not our year.
AA should have landed a reliever or two a couple weeks ago. The pen is such an area of need. But I'm not going to declare the deadline a bust until the deadline passes and we fail to legitimately improve the team.

To complete we still have Sam Freeman and Ryan Flaherty.

It's always a fluid situation but some small move like the Venters move may be all we get and have to wait until the August waiver moves like Beltre.
