I don't think mallex will either much, but he'll double, triple, steal bases, and unfortunately, strike out a lot
So who had Mallex in the 2nd to two homers pool?

I think Norris almost died at third so not sure he can handle all that baserunning. :)
Is it too early to speculate about the possibility he might develop into more than a slap hitter with speed. A guy with his profile who can put up an ISO of .120 or so is a much different player than one with an ISO around .080.
I think Smith and Bourn is a good comp overall, very similar IMO.
Kudos to Joe for not lobbing softballs to John Hart.

Fredi made this lineup card last night before he got the e-mail about his PIT ----> ATL flight scheduled for today. You should see the first Snitker lineup tomorrow.
AJP is Hart's boy, I've said that all along since we signed him. They go back to little league and are basically family. That's why he's here. Jim Johnson is Hart's boy too, that is why he was brought back.
