Soroka probably was never supposed to face any Mets hitters a third time, but the no-hitter andlow pitch count got him the chance to face Conforto, and then Frazier since he bats RHed.

Folks seem to laud dumb aggressive base running when it works out WAY more than they criticize guys when it doesn't work out.

I would tell my players to never try and steal 3rd, if I were a manager. If you’re fast enough to steal 3rd, you’re fast enough to score from 2nd on a hit.
Probably an exaggeration, but he is now 4/9 last month (5/11/18 - today). Last night's SB was pure luck; the defender dropped the ball that beat ender... should be 3/9 SB in this period
Well he was also called out when he was safe on the play at home too. So it evens out overall. He probably is just excited to attempt them since he rarely gets on base these days.
