This whole thing that it was staged or a false flag is just infuriating and further proof that the political right is completely detached from reality. Are we then to assume the Soros-funded, Middle Easterner-infested caravan is a Koch brother-funded operation to get old, white Republicans to the polls? That the Kavanaugh accusers were far right plants to fire the base up? Same kind of c**ts who try to claim the massacre of first-graders at an elementary school was a ploy to get our guns. Certainly we have to recognize we can't go on like this. There's no getting around it. Today was a politically-motivated, attempted mass murder. Whether or not you want to believe that both sides carry equal blame here, Donald Trump is the president. His words carry tremendous weight. He has every opportunity to rally the country together. This could be his "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country" moment. Instead, with him, it's how can I use this office to accrue more power and personally enrich myself? He is a cancer on this country and things like this are a result of it.

Lost a bunch of hope for the future of this country with the election of Trump. Now reading through some of these pages and seeing some actually wanting Avenatti and all hope is gone.
