That's why Julio is the wind beneath my wings.

He doesn't play SS. We need a UTIL player who can play SS. There's no harm in bringing in Elliot while we continue to look at other options.

He plays short, he's just not very good at short. He's supposedly strong at second though, but given his bat I don't even know if he's an upgrade to Gosselin who helped us win a game with his bat Sunday. Gosselin seems to hit lefties okay at least. However, I wanted them to call up La Stella instead of Gosselin personally. Oh well.

I didnt see the game but I noticed in the CJ homer video that Justin had a bat in hand which makes me think he was going to PH soon.

The way he was spitting blood and given the location he was hit. I'd be very surprised if he didn't have a broken jaw. But being a Braves fan I gotta hope that's not the case.

Ok, the previous Heyward tweet was followed with this, makes me feel a little better:

    Kevin McAlpin ‏@KevinMcAlpin 58m

Fredi says Heyward never lost consciousness & was talking after being hit in jaw. Even popped into dugout to say bye before leaving. #Braves

I saw that, Fredi said it during his post-game. But I am more concerned that he has a broken jaw than concussion. Though neither would be good news of course.

That big puss should have stayed in the game, then.

Yeah, if he has a broken jaw he's probably out for the season. Hopefully the xrays are negative.

Per Mark Bowman, Heyward is likely out 4-6 weeks with fractured right jaw.
