We all know that there are some guys whose projected upside just never seems to materialize. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't starting to think that Wright might be one of those guys.

He’s getting to the age where it reasonable to start worrying. He also hasn’t done it enough to claim him fixed.

The Braves have the 3rd highest wRC+ In MLB the last 7 days, so no, the offense hasn’t been terrible.

The offense has been elite from opening day, and a few games of unlucky sequencing didn’t change that fact.

I think it’s pretty clear that this next series determines the division champion. The good news, is that if it’s a split, then the Braves are still division champs. So, the Braves have a big advantage.

Of course, the Braves also have the advantage because they’re the better team, but that don’t mean **** in a short series.

Strong finish today for sure. 40 Ks this series is a little concerning though even though lots of runs today and Friday. Not sure if these huge K numbers will translate to wins in postseason, but maybe they will. They did walk 22 times this series though, so that certainly offsets the high K numbers
