6,7, and 8 need to step up today. I don't have a lot of faith that that will happen but can hope.

Combined they are 9 for 49(.183) and each has 3 hits with 20 Ks, 3 HRs

I would love 7 good innings from Fried tonight so our pen can get a bit of a rest. Best case scenario would be 7 innings from Fried followed by Martin, Melancon and a Braves win. But even if we lose we would have Anderson in game 7 with a pen that should be good to go.
    thank you weso1!

I think Melancon should be up in the bullpen when Albies is batting. Seems to work out pretty well.

Wonder if Ferris’s blisters are better or if that will be an issue. We know Ozzie will swing at everything regardless.

Ronnie with a yuge game today.
We need to win today, game 7 would be immense pressure on Anderson and the team.
Let’s put it away today boys

I feel good about tonight. Max is going to bring us back to the WS. HERE is the real question: if we're up by 10 going into the 4th, should we pull Max so he can pitch sooner in the WS?

We lost the game last night and that hurts but so far the script has really been as good as we could hope in a no day off series like this.

Knowing you've got no true 3-5 starters (and that Kershaw missed game 2), you really had to come in assuming going better than 1-2 in games 3-5 would be TOUGH. That meant that you either split the first 2 and are down 3-2 or obviously finding a way to win both of the first two in which case you'd be up 3-2 and knowing you can close out with your ace on the mound.

We've basically executed this as well as you could have hoped. Now we just need to win today. I think we can all agree a Game 7 with LA getting a 2nd look at Ian would not be ideal.

Really just hoping we can have some good solid AB's, get to their pen early and play with the lead today

I say no, though I want to say yes. We need to nail it down.

We need to walk Seager whenever there’s a RHP on the mound.

Not really good but better than last night. Don't like the weakness of 6-7-8 hitters.

Will feel better if there are no reviews

Why do I get the feeling that Fried isn’t going to have his breaking ball working tonight?
